Looking for specific jobs is difficult enough, now with the doom of job cuts and credit crunching. However, nothing can be more difficult than looking for executive jobs, because they follow suit in the idea of finding a good stable job that allows time to manage and provide the entire impressive package that comes with an executive role. The bigger picture will reveal a longwinded period of researching, CV writing, interviews and dealing with rejections.

Those who have grown up in Essex are more likely to branch away from this county, in towards London and surrounding areas. Jobs in London tend to pay extra due to the outer London weighting and because it is a large city they will offer more diverse job opportunities. In light of the recent credit crunch and people facing job cuts, it is safe to say that now is not a good time for struggle working class individuals, working hard at trying to pay off their student loans or bank loans debt. Unfortunately I fall into this bracket of being a poor graduate working hard to pay off my debts, however, not everyone are as lucky as I am in finding a steady job. If you live in the Essex catchment area then you are probably aware of the lack of opportunities available. Speaking another language may seem unimportant to the laymen who feel they have no use for knowing another language. However a career in translation is a lucrative path to choose, especially if you study a field which is in much demand such as Spanish, French, German, Russian and Japanese. Many large organisations or businesses turn towards the help of many translation services, for business negotiations, drawing up a contract and creating partnerships. Becoming a translator is both a demanding and can often be a lucrative job if approached in the right way. This is one of the many jobs that attract the attention of high paying retail companies and manufacturers looking for simple translations of various products such as instruction manuals, leaflets, booklets etc. Often translators would need to travel with the business partners for effective negotiating, meetings, guidance or even translate presentations. |
